Bushcraft is the use of practice of skills, acquiring and developing knowledge and understanding, in order to survive and thrive in the natural environment and engage with nature. 

Bushcraft activities and skills include: 

  • Fire-craft

  • Shelter Building

  • Wood carving

  • Twine making

  • Team building

  • Foraging

  • Outdoor cooking 

Osprey have various bushcraft, forest and summer school sessions for various groups throughout the year taking place at a local private woodland camp as well as at our community allotment site.

 

Gain Confidence Through Bushcraft & Healthy Habits in the Outdoor Environment.

Light the Fire, Whittle, Cordage, Knots, Cook, Eat Outdoors...

TO ATTEND: 

Free to attend for those receiving means-tested benefits, and funded by the Workers Educational Association.
