Bushcraft

 

Bushcraft is the use of practice of skills, acquiring and developing knowledge and understanding, in order to survive and thrive in the natural environment and engage with nature. 

Bushcraft activities and skills include: 

  • Fire-craft

  • Shelter Building

  • Wood carving

  • Twine making

  • Team building

  • Foraging

  • Outdoor cooking 

Osprey have various bushcraft, and summer school sessions for various groups throughout the year taking place at a local private woodland camp as well as at our community allotment site.

Minibus collections and location of courses to be confirmed later in the year.

Create with Wool, Clay, Wood, Willow,

Using hand tools, get stuck in to Healthy Living, 

Light the Fire, Whittle, Cordage, Knots,

Cook together, Learn about nutritious meals, Eat Outdoors...

TO ATTEND: 

Free to attend for those receiving means-tested benefits, and funded by the Workers Educational Association.
