Create a new Sensory Garden & Creative Activities in Nature
- See, Feel, Hear, Sense, Taste

When & Where: 
Osprey Gardens, Clark's Field Allotments, Rector's Way, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3NP.

Mondays 10am-3pm. 

 

Two back-to-back 6 weeks courses:

May 9th - June 13th

June 20th - July 25th

Open to all, no experience required, free to attend. 

What:

Sensory gardens incorporate an array of different features, surfaces, objects and plants that stimulate the senses through touch, sight, scent, taste and hearing. 

 

During these sessions, you will: 

 

- Help to design, create, make, shape, plan and plant a new sensory garden area at Osprey Allotments that will be an inspiring space of calm and wellbeing for all to benefit from. 

 

- Learn about different plants for the senses; sow and grow them to plant in the area.

 

- Get creative with different mediums and natural materials including wood and rocks, plants and flowers, wool, clay,  and willow, to build, print, make, mosaic, sculpt, weave and craft things for the sensory garden and to take away with you!
