New - Birdwatching for Wellbeing
Birdwatching for Wellbeing
Join us for a day out birdwatching in local countryside.
Bird Watching for Wellbeing is a chance to learn all about the beautiful bird life on the Somerset Levels. Explore how bird watching can be relaxing and mindful activity that benefits your mental health. Led by a knowledgeable and welcoming team who are experienced in connecting with nature and ecotherapy, with guest experts from the Wildlife Trusts and RSPB.
Sessions will include walks around the reserves, visiting various bird hides and learning how to identify different birds. Improving your fitness and wellbeing through nature-based mindfulness, and using your senses to notice what’s around you.
Starting in October, just bring appropriate all-weather clothing, outdoor footwear, a packed lunch and binoculars (if you have any). **Please contact us to book a place on the minibus**
