Community Allotment Days

Horticulture for Wellbeing at Osprey Gardens

Learn how to create, develop and maintain a working community allotment site of eleven plots that includes growing areas, poly tunnels, an orchard and gardens, as well as a clay oven, workshop and project space.

There is always something to do at the allotment - be it planning, seeding, sorting, planting, building, weeding - and harvesting!

Reap the benefits of nurturing and helping things grow and watching nature flourish in the great outdoors with a friendly group that is open to all - no experience needed!

We try to use Permaculture principles on the site as an approach to land management and philosophy that adopts arrangements observed in flourishing natural ecosystems.  It includes design principles including regenerative agriculture, rewilding, and community resilience
